Thank you for inquiring about Happy Paws Pet Camp. We are a unique facility in that we do not cage our campers either day or night. As a result we are a no bark society as well. Our campers know who the pack leaders are, therefore they are not stressed and can have a good time without feeling the need to carry on. Day Camp consists of exercise and socialization.

Camp hours are:  

             Monday through Friday          7am to 7pm  

                                               Saturday                                    8am to 5pm 

In the summer we have pools and water sports. All campers must pass a temperament test before they can come for daycare, as not all dogs are candidates for an open society. The commitment of the parent is also an important factor to acceptance of a new candidate. We are completely air conditioned for extremely hot days and completely heated for the cold days of winter. On rainy days we turn on movies. 101 Dalmatians and Air Bud are a couple of the favorites. Some handlers read to the campers on rainy days.

We host Valentine Dances and Graduation Parties for our campers as well as visits from Santa Paws and the  Easter Bunny! Let's not forget the Halloween Costume Contests. We do tours of our facility between 10am and 3pm, Monday through Saturday.

Prior to taking the temp test we must have a copy of your up to date shot records, including Bordetella which is also known as Kennel Cough. This is not a mandatory shot by the vet, but most daycares and boarding facilities require this vaccination. We require it stay updated EVERY 6 MONTHS! If all vaccinations are not current or the Bordetella is not current within 6 months THE TEST CANNOT BE GIVEN! For a complete vaccination list go to REQUIRED SHOTS.

Temperament Test are by appointment  only and are given on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 10:30am to 2:30pm. There is a $15.00 charge, per dog, to book your appointment.  If for any reason your dog fails, or you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment, the money will be refunded to you.  If you dog passes the test than it becomes our camp membership fee.  Dogs who are tested one day may NOT board the next day. We do not test for those who are looking for boarding only.  To stay current in our system, and to keep all dogs familiar with the "pack", all campers are required to attend, at least, 2 days of daycare per month.  Also All campers that have not attended Happy Paws within the last 6 months must be re-evaluated before their next visit.
